{for those days. you know the ones i mean}
hey fellow mom’s..
if you’re feeling a bit tired, like i’ve been these past few days 14 years.take a little time to read this.
my favorites from the list were the two below. {what was yours?}
“I shall remember that a messy house at peace is better than an immaculate house tied up in knots.”
“I shall embrace the fact that in becoming a mom I traded perfect for a house full of real.”
do i hear an AMEN!

Love the photos! Your whole family (including YOU!) is so photogenic! Love the pic of the little ones toes!
There were so many good ones on that link! I love that list! Going to have to go back and reread it on those days when it seems like chaos is control and clean home is nowhere to be found!
Ahhhhh, I see that you and I are going through the very same thing again at the very same time. Ha! Seems to happen quite often…. must just be the journey of motherhood that keeps our hearts united. I literally have a post in the works about “embracing the mess”.
I saw a sign recently that said, “Good moms have sticky floors, messy kitchens, laundry piles, dirty ovens, and happy kids.” …. and it made me feel so much better.
Thanks for the link to the tired Mom’s creed. LOVE it!
Sorry I’ve been so hit and miss lately… I’m finally coming out of all the morning sickness and can breath again.
I’ve missed you!
@melissajoy77 - WHAT?? morning sickness!! we DO need to catch up.
such happy HAPPY news. and.. i’ve missed you too.
Ooops, maybe I skipped that little nugget of information.
Ha! Yes, I’m a little over halfway now… and it’s a girl again! We’re thrilled. And I’m also thrilled to be over the rough stuff now. I’m beginning to come out of hiding again.
Looking forward to being a part of the blogging world again.
@melissajoy77 - so glad you’re feeling better. those first months can be brutal. and another girl.. yaY!! i love my girls and watching their sister-friendship. i never had that, so it really fascinates/ blesses me!
These were great! I think I have to share them with my daughters!
Love them all. Esp. the ones about a messy house…my dh told me the other day to not let it bother me, we’re in the middle of raising children.
With a new baby, that’s one thing that just drives me crazy! Not being able to keep up…

Great advice and some great pictures of very photogenic children! Thanks so much for sharing!
I LOVE those quotes. I shall write them on chalkboards around my house, because I so need to remember them right now in this busy newborn stage!!
And little Reese… so adorable pictures! And you are beautiful as ever! ♥
When I was pregnant with Nathanael, my Mom-in-Law gave me a poem (popular at the time, and I think still around today) that said, “Cleaning and scrubbing can wait ’til tomorrow For babies grow up we’ve learned to our sorrow, So quiet down cobwebs and dust go to sleep I’m rocking my baby, and babies don’t keep.” I always wondered if she regretted giving it to me because I was such a terrible housekeeper – I did spend most of my waking hours with my babies!! My regrets in this area are very minimal – I’m sorry the house wasn’t in better order, and that I never was able to teach my kiddoes how to be orderly, but, OH, how I loved being with my babies!! They all turned out pretty good, although I bet Emily wishes I’d have worked on that orderliness thing with Nathanael more!!
