and when I mentioned the color to the girl before leaving the salon, she said to give it a few days -“it will probably fade a little…”
“To what?” I nearly said. “a LIGHTER orange!”

Any hair stylist that responds with that answer knows they did something wrong and they should be the ones calling you back to see if you are 100% satisfied and if you are not then they need to suggest about coming in to remedy the situation.

@singingrachel - the main lesson i told my girls was, “be content w/ your NATURAL hair color!!” haha~ 
@fwren - yes.. i was digging in ben’s room for one. but, pulled it up in a ponytail instead today and just went!! 
@Missionfieldof5 - yeah, i know, right! like, “it’ll fade?” hello!! obviously it’s TOO BRIGHT. 
she IS going to fix it. called her this morning – though i’m a bit worried what the “fixed hair” might look like. yielding it to Jesus already! 
Doesn’t look orange in this pic. That said, if you are not happy with it, go back and have them fix it.
Ooooooh – I’ve been there! I ended up with a pink hue all over one time! I thought maybe no one would notice and then within 5 minutes of seeing someone I knew they said, “why is your hair pink?” : ) So much for no one noticing! I do believe that we can be our own toughest critics though. I completely understand you wanting it fixed, but really it doesn’t look terrible. I hope the “fixing” goes well. When I had my pink hair fixed it ended up bleach blonde in some places, and RED in others. I ended up with some of my dirty-blondish, some red lowlights and some blonde highlights. Turned out, I ended up loving it and just had my hair colored that way again. Good luck! : )
I’ve been purple if you might remember – I cried.
before the purple though, the lady turned me orange. . . in that moment, I thought nothing could be worse, but then . . . it went purple. ok, your post brought back those memories! – have a lovely weekend!
